Sunset in the City 2025: A Night of Celebration, Impact, and Community

September 27, 2025 – Denver, Colorado — On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers at Anchor Center for Blind Children, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the 29th Annual Sunset in the City — our largest and most impactful fundraising event of the year.

With over 300 guests and supporters in attendance, the evening was nothing short of magical. Thanks to your generosity, we are thrilled to announce that the event raised more than $483,500 (gross) in support of our life-changing programs for children with visual impairments and their families. As Anchor Center is funded almost entirely by charitable contributions, your support truly fuels our mission and makes a lasting difference.

Honoring Our Graduates

One of the most touching moments of the evening was celebrating four incredible high school seniors from the Class of 2025 — all proud Anchor Center alumni. Congratulations to Caden, Julianna, Carlie, and Hallie! Their journeys are a testament to the power of early intervention and the strength of our community.
