Meet Lisa Hidalgo

Dancing with Anchors 2022 Contestant

Lisa and Patrick have my vote!

How does it work?

VOTING WITH YOUR DOLLARS BEFORE AND AT THE EVENT WILL DETERMINE THE WINNING TEAM – i.e. the team that raises the most money for Anchor Center, wins the competition, and the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy! Voting dollars are a charitable, tax-deductable donation benefiting the children and families of Anchor Center…and a fun way to support your favorite dance team.

IMPORTANT: Your contribution to Anchor Center for Blind Children qualifies for a 50% Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit on your CO state taxes. Example: give a $50 gift, get $25 back!

About Lisa

Denver7

Lisa is the Denver7 morning weather meteorologist who is a native and in love with Colorado.  Her career has taken her all over the state from Grand Junction to Colorado Springs and she even did a brief stint at a station in Las Vegas!  Lisa has a sweet husband, two sweet little girls and two sometimes-sweet Chihuahuas.  She loves reading (check out the Denver7 Book Club. Lisa selects a new book every month that the Tattered Cover will offer at a discount for the pick of the month), knitting and running.  She’s finished three marathons, including the Denver Marathon in 2017.  While practicing for the “2022 Dancing with the Anchors”, Lisa will also be logging a few miles on the dance floor.

Meet Lisa's Dance Partner

Patrick McKenna

Patrick started at Arthur Murray Denver in 2004. He and his whole family were part of our student body for 4 years until they moved away. Patrick’s passion for dance even compelled him to go to college for a ballroom dance degree. The passion continued on as a student and eventually as an Arthur Murray instructor on the west coast. He returned to his Colorado roots in 2014 and now teaches in both Arthur Murray Denver and Arthur Murray Castle Rock. He has competed as an amateur and as a professional. His teaching skills, especially to newer students, have been recognized and documented to be of the highest caliber in the entire Arthur Murray world.
