WHAT: Anchor Night Watch is a respite program hosted by Anchor Center in partnership with the Denver School of Nursing and our additional nursing partners. Anchor Center students and siblings participate in pre-planned activities and events ranging from art to motor activities. Trained nursing students and Anchor Center staff supervise children to ensure each child is provided with the best care and has an enjoyable evening while family members are away.
WHO: Anchor Center families AND alumni, ages 6 weeks to 11 years old
DETAILS: Snacks will be provided but parents may bring food and drinks for allergy or individual needs. Please also pack sunscreen, pajamas, a change of clothes, diaper bags, etc. as needed to ensure quality care. All participants must have completed release forms signed and on file upon arrival. Children may be dropped off starting at 5:00 p.m. and picked up anytime prior to but no later than 9:00 p.m. Nurses will be present to greet families for any special instructions or medication concerns when families arrive for the evening.
REGISTRATION: Families must pre-register either online or by completing the Anchor Night Watch Registration form. Please register early! Registration closes at noon on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled Night Watch and fills up quickly.
