Anchor Night Watch is a respite program hosted by Anchor Center in partnership with the Denver School of Nursing and our additional nursing volunteers. Anchor Center students and siblings participate in pre-planned activities and events ranging from art to motor activities. Trained nursing students and Anchor Center staff supervise children to ensure each child is provided with the best care and has an enjoyable evening while family members are away. Snacks will be provided but parents may bring food and drinks for allergy or individual needs. Please also pack sunscreen, pajamas, a change of clothes, diaper bags, etc. as needed to ensure quality care. Families must pre-register either online or by completing the Anchor Night Watch Registration form. All participants must have completed release forms signed and on file upon arrival. Children may be dropped off starting at 5:00 p.m. and picked up anytime prior to but no later than 9:00 p.m. Nurses will be present to greet families for any special instructions or medication concerns when families arrive for the evening.
Registration for May Night Watch is now closed, as we have reached capacity. However, registration for June Night Watch is now open. Registration is limited so please register by noon on Wednesday of the week of Anchor Night Watch. Thank you!
