WHAT: Family Services is hosting a series of parent workshops for parents and caregivers that addresses various issues that can impact the family. We will have our knowledgeable staff facilitate these discussions along with guest speakers for select topics. The fourth workshop is “Discrimination faced in society with a visually impaired child”. Deb Curry, MA and Anne Brown, LCSW will be co-facilitating this discussion.
WHO: Anchor Center families and alumni are welcome to attend. Childcare will be available for children ages 3 months to 11 years old
DETAILS: The parent workshops will be available at Anchor Center in the Community Room as well as virtually for those who are not able to make it in person. Nursing students will be present to greet families for any special instructions or medication concerns when families arrive for the workshop.
REGISTRATION: Families must register by completing the Parent Workshop Series registration form. Registration closes when all spots are filled. Please sign up soon to guarantee your spot. This is a free workshop for Anchor Center families. Please indicate if you are planning to attend virtually in the questions comment box on the registration form. Anchor will send you an invite to attend through Microsoft Teams if you request it.
