Chris and Angelica have my vote!
How does it work?
VOTING WITH YOUR DOLLARS BEFORE AND AT THE EVENT WILL DETERMINE THE WINNING TEAM – i.e. the team that raises the most money for Anchor Center, wins the competition, and the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy! Voting dollars are a charitable, tax-deductable donation benefiting the children and families of Anchor Center…and a fun way to support your favorite dance team.
IMPORTANT: Your contribution to Anchor Center for Blind Children qualifies for a 50% Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit on your CO state taxes. Example: give a $50 gift, get $25 back!
About Chris
Fox31 and KWGN
Chris is a seven-time Emmy Award winning reporter, anchor and entertainment host. You can watch him weekdays from 4:30-9:00 a.m. co-anchoring “Daybreak” on Channel 2.
He’s been in the tv business for more than 24 years (which clearly means he started when he was five)! Prior to Coming to Denver, Chris was the morning anchor at WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky.
A highlight for Chris was hosting an hour of national television, filling in for Regis Philbin on “Live with Regis & Kelly.” They loved him so much, Chris was invited back to the show a second time, as feature reporter for their “Ambush Makeovers.” He has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, actors and politicians, and his live work has been featured nationally on CNN, FOX and MSNBC.
Though Chris has adopted Colorado has his second home, he’ll always remain a “Hoosier” at heart. Born in Indiana, chris graduated with honors from Indiana University, with degrees in both Journalism and Political Science.
He studied theatre at Indiana University, and got his Improvisation training at Chicago’s famed “Second City.” He’s performed with Improv Troupes at countless festivals and shows. He’s currently performing here in Denver with the troupe he helped found, the “Queerbots.”
We can wait to see what Chris has in store for us this year in Anchor Center’s “2022 Dancing with the Anchors” fundraiser.

Chris stops by Anchor Center
Chris stopped by Anchor Center to talk to one of our parents and her son, Atlas! This is what we are raising money for and as Chris said, "It's the only thing he wants for his birthday, your vote and donation to Anchor Center." Thank you for taking the time to visit and we can't wait to see you perform!
