Thanks to generous donations, Anchor Center was able to provide teaching, therapy, and family resources to 125 children last year. What’s more, 20 of those students were served through home visits, with our educators traveling a combined 8,000 miles. Additionally, private contributions allowed Anchor Center to maintain and grow our incredible staff of teachers of students with visual impairments (TSVI’s), orientation and mobility specialists, therapists, and early childhood special education teachers. We are so grateful to all of our donors, and we humbly thank you for continuing to believe in our mission and in the potential of these children.

Anchor Center has opened our eyes to another world, one of beauty and grace, and that inspires, celebrates, and empathizes in the special life we get to live…our gratitude for this place runs deep inside and we will forever be thankful. I only wish that every parent of a child with a disability could have a place like this. It’s our rainbow after the storm…[Anchor Center’s teachers and therapists] educated us, cried with us, laughed with us. But most of all, they built us up as parents, giving us confidence and HOPE for the future. They celebrated EVERY SINGLE LITTLE step Jordy made. She was like a caterpillar coming in, and now has blossomed into the most beautiful butterfly we have ever seen. — Kiera, Anchor Center Parent
