It was a spook-tacular Halloween celebration at Anchor Center this year. Our infants and toddlers had a costume party and our preschoolers enjoyed a day of trick-or-treating in our building AND trunk-or-treating in the parking lot. They learned all about the Halloween custom and understood how to identify which doors were for trick-or-treating by feeling for the pumpkin on the door frame. They felt, knocked, pronounced “trick-or-treat!!” and held out their baskets to be filled with goodies. These kiddos were absolute trick-or-treating professionals. They even had a surprise visitor…Spot from Foothills Animal Shelter!! And, believe it or not, some of them loved the giant, soft doggy even more than their candy!
