Conducting FVAs on students with visual impairments is a standard responsibility of TVIs. However, because most TVIs work with school-aged students, completing FVAs for very young children is a less common experience. If you are an experienced TVI,  you likely learned how to conduct FVAs based on traditional textbook instruction during your preparation program.
