Anchor Center’s regular on-site programming has resumed and we continue to evaluate all State and Federal health and safety advisories. We have created protocols which will support the safest environment for our children and families.

Our planning and safety measures currently includes:

1) Lowered classroom size ratios for students and instructors/therapists;

2) Nursing students’ assistance in daily monitoring of temperature and symptom checks;

3) Observed hand washing/sanitizing at regular intervals;

4) Increased medical grade sanitization and disinfecting practices of our equipment and facility;

5) Widespread use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all staff and children;

6) Protocol to allow adults or students who have concerns and/or are at greater risk of serious complications from COVID to work/learn remotely, and

6) Maintain distancing of students and staff via the utilization of larger classrooms and available facility spaces.

Additional updates and expanded guidelines may be developed to support the safest environment for our children, families, staff and volunteers. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Be well,

Executive Director
