The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on Anchor Center’s website. On some pages, you can register for events, make donations or other payments, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

Online Payments: Making an online payment is safe, simple and secure. We welcome and protect your online credit card transaction (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) which we process through a secure, PCI compliant server. Payments are processed by Blackbaud, who encrypts all personal and credit card information. Blackbaud sends an automated confirmation email for all transactions for your records.

Online Referral Forms: Online referral forms are used by our professional staff to determine a child’s eligibility to participate in programming. All personal information is entered and processed through our secure server as well. Records (including information submitted during the referral process) regarding Anchor Center children may be shared with your child’s doctor or our professional partners to ensure comprehensive, quality care.

Newsletter Sign-Up: Email newsletter sign up requests will be utilized to include you in our email list and keep you up-to-date with Anchor Center news and events. If you have registered to receive communications from us and later change your mind, you may contact us to have your name and contact information removed from our distribution lists.

The Way We Use Information:
When you provide personal information to Anchor Center for Blind Children, we use it solely to fulfill our mission to teach children who are blind or visually impaired, providing hope and a nurturing environment where children reach their highest potential.

We use the information you provide about yourself only to complete the process you requested. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the process.We use the information you provide about someone else only to confirm registration or donations. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that process.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
