Anchor Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Toni Stephenson Memorial Playground on January 4, 2024!

A Tribute of Love: Our heartfelt thanks go to the Stephenson family for their generous tribute to Toni Stephenson, a beloved supporter who passed away in 2020. Their commitment has transformed her memory into a living legacy, illuminating the lives of countless children.

With varied tactile surfaces, vibrant high-contrast colors, engaging features, and specialized equipment that can accommodate wheelchairs, walkers and cane travelers, our playground is crafted to cater to all children, embracing every ability. This inclusive playground symbolizes our belief in focusing on what children can do and reflects our commitment to remove barriers, advance equity, and foster a sensory-rich environment that nurtures physical, emotional, and social development.
