September 11, 2024 – Today, Anchor Center had the immense honor of welcoming Santiago’s Mexican Restaurants and Santiago’s Charities, who presented us with a remarkable check for $450,000. We are profoundly humbled and deeply grateful for their extraordinary generosity and partnership.
For 21 years, Santiago’s has been a champion for area non-profits dedicated to supporting children with special needs. Thanks to the unwavering support of their customers, sponsors, and the community, Santiago’s has raised this incredible amount to aid Colorado’s young children with blindness and visual impairments.
The impact these funds will have on the lives of the children and families we serve will be truly transformative. We were thrilled to host the Santiago’s leadership and team members, as staff guided them through a tour of the facility. Our students presented thank you cards and performed a special thank you song to express our collective gratitude.
Over the course of the last several months, Santiago’s offered various ways for their customers, business partners and staff to contribute, including “round up and the register”
options, candy bar sales and their annual Santiago’s Charity Golf Tournament and Auction (click here to see more footage of the event held on August 2nd, 2024). With over 26 Santiago’s locations participating across Colorado, their commitment to giving back is truly inspiring.
