Robert King, MD., and Cathy Smyth, Ph.D. presented Anchor Center for Blind Children’s NAVEG Project research at Zero to Three on Oct. 4, 2019 at their Annual Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Zero to Three works to ensure that babies and toddlers benefit from the early connections that are critical to their well-being and development. This national conference hosts over 2000 participants annually, including health providers, early intervention providers, and policy makers. This session, From the Hospital to Home, Using Early Visual Functioning to Support Families, focuses on our work using vision screening for CVI and is a perfect fit for this unique conference. Over 80 practitioners, including Early Interventionists, Home Visiting Nurses, and NICU personnel were in attendance for the presentation.
